ExplainIf collects the minimum information needed to provide the service: your name, email address, password hash, learning progress, and any feedback you choose to submit. We do not sell personal data.
2. Data Use
We use your data to authenticate you, save your learning progress, personalize your experience, and improve the platform. AI dialogs are used only for educational assistance and are not used to train third-party models.
3. Data Retention
Account data is kept until you delete your account. Progress and feedback data may be retained in backups for up to 90 days after deletion. Passwords are stored as strong one-way hashes.
4. User Rights
You may access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can also request a copy of your data or withdraw consent for non-essential processing.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
We use local storage only for UI preferences such as language and theme. No third-party tracking cookies are used.
6. Security
We apply industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS, hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; please use a unique password and keep it confidential.
